With the help of a new iPod Touch, I have finally been able to debug i-MetrO. You can now use the Netvibes platform - with its dedicated version at http://iphone.netvibes.com - and our widget to search your routes on your Apple iPhone or iPod Touch.
For a quick access, I'd recommend you install the widget in its own tab for which you can keep a bookmark. In any case, you should not add too much content in each tab if you don't want to spend your time scrolling like mad...
Everything is not perfect yet: the search page interface is quite slow (at least on my device) and Safari tends to do weird things if you try to move too fast. Another problem I don't (yet) understand: the Google Maps usually work all right but sometimes, for no apparent reason, they won't show.
I have added an iPhone page on our web site for the occasion, where you can find all the options - present and future - you have to use MetrO on your device.
Now, except for possible minor improvements and bug fixes, I expect the next major item in this series will be about the development of a native version of MetrO for the Apple platform.
