Nürnberg

G. Weder reported minor changes (on operating times) in Nürnberg (Germany).

Munster

Siegfried has provided the information for the bus network in Munster (Germany).

Nottingham

Presently, the Nottingham (UK) file contains only one tram and one railway line: K. Westmoreland wants to add bus lines and started sending me data for 5 of them.

Berlin

M. Ciesielski reported another temporary change on the S-Bahn network in Berlin (Germany), because of works at what will become a major station (Papestrasse).

Madrid (cont'd)

Some more changes on line 6 in Madrid after the fire at the Windsor Tower: only the "Nuevos Ministerios" station remains closed (probably for some time).

Bochum

H. Zeiser has decided to enhance the file for Bochum and Geselkirchen (Germany) with the bus network.

Freiburg Im Breisgau

Another new city will be added in the next release: Freiburg Im Breisgau (Germany), not to confuse with Fribourg in Switzerland. The data was sent by F. Wissler.

Rostock

J. Demmer sent me the data for the S-Bahn & Tram lines in Rostock (Germany).

Madrid

After the Windsor Tower fire and the following threat of a complete collapse of the building, line L6 in Madrid (Spain) is closed on part of its route. N. Knapp reported the information.

Madrid

According to M. López, the connections between the Metrosur and C5 lines in Madrid (Spain) need some adjustment: the program does not use those connections efficiently in the current version.

Stuttgart (again)

The previous update, a few days ago, did not correct all the changes in the Stuttgart (Germany) network. Some more were sent by G. Surlovski.

Den Haag (The Hague)

After a long walk on a supposed bus connection in The Hague (Netherlands), K. de Bondt suggests to change 2 stop names and remove the connection ;-)

Tokyo

There was some kind of inconsistency on the Tozai line in Tokyo (Japan), noticed by P. Spree. All the Metro lines will be streamlined.

Bug in MetrO for Palm

While testing the new database for Berlin (the changes are still in progress), M. Ciesielski encountered a bug in the program (PalmOS version). When "tapping" on the header in the POI list it either crashes or displays random characters.

I have fixed the error.

Stuttgart

H. Wagner notified me of a stop name change in Stuttgart (Germany).

Tokyo

I fixed a small error in the Tokyo (Japan) database, spotted by P. Spee (a missing stop on the Musashino line).

Brest

D. Pouliquen has provided places of interest for the Brest (France) database.

Madrid

A station has been closed for works on line 3 in Madrid (Spain). Reported by N. Knapp.

Trondheim

M. Wohlen has started to provide the data for Trondheim (Norway).

Chicago

I fixed a typo on the Ogilvie T.C. in the Chicago (USA) database, on a notice by W. Groth.

Barcelona

E. Loureiro notified me that some connections (essentially between the suburban lines and the subway) were missing in the Barcelona (Spain) database.

Genova

A new stop was opened last Friday on the Genova (Italy) subway line.

Bruxelles / Brussels

The STIB will soon increase the fares on the Bruxelles public transport system. L. Debacker provided the update (as usual ;-) for the MétrO database.

San Juan

After the subway and the places of interest, Z. Lozada is checking whether he could also get the other transport systems in the San Juan database: we started with 3 boat services and 1 bus line...

Brest

D. Pouliquen (?) sent a mail about the Brest (France) database: a few minor errors to fix and a railway to add.

Rhein-Neckar

After a pause, M. Soltau has completed the Rhein-Neckar (Germany) database with the Heidelberg bus lines.

Berlin

As announced earlier, I updated the Berlin database with the changes happening at the end of the month on the S-Bahn network.

New York

The MTA decided that the damages caused by last week's fire in Chambers Street will not require years to repair, after all. Service is almost back to normal and an updated file will be published shortly on the MetrO home page.

Barcelona

R. Drake reported a small error in the Barcelona (Spain) file: the TMB lines now start service at 5 AM on Sunday...

Berlin

I have finally implemented the important changes on the Berlin network, and I will soon update the S-Bahn lines (with a new service starting at the end of the month).

For once I have been late: M. Ciesielski sent me the information long ago (in December) and I apologize for the delay in delivering the new version...
