Madrid

Subway line 10 in Madrid (Spain) has been extended today with 11 new stations (!) north of the city.

An updated database is available here and I will try to add it to our online update services tomorrow evening and through our online update services (as of April 27).

Palma de Mallorca

While working on the future networks in Spain, I have created a database for the Metro of Palma de Mallorca, including the existing SFM railway lines.

Málaga

P. Rivière sent the data for the future Metro in Málaga (Spain). I also added the existing Cercanías lines.

i-MetrO (mobile)

I have slightly improved the design of our i-MetrO mobile service, for i-mode phones and other connected mobile devices.

It is a good opportunity to announce that this service is now accessible through a new shorter URL: http://i-metro.mobi.

In loosely related news, we have also launched a web page about the future version of MetrO for the BlackBerry. It is still far from reality and for BlackBerry owners who can't wait, we recommend using i-MetrO mobile.

A completely redesigned version of i-MetrO is now available with exciting new features:
  • Options to select the transport systems you want to use (or not to use) for your route

The new release of MetrO is out with one new city (Miskolc in Hungary) and important updates on many networks (Berlin, Budapest, Lausanne, Linz, Los Angeles, Paris, Pau, San Francisco, Tours, Valencia, Vienna).

Wien/Vienna

F. Felser has provided one additional bus line for the network in Wien/Vienna (Austria).

Pau

M. Dulerm sent an almost entirely new version for the bus network in Pau (France).

San Francisco

With the new T-Third line starting full service today, there are significant changes on the MUNI Metro system in San Francisco (USA).

Paris

The bus services in Paris (France) are improving: line 75 now runs later in the evening as well as on Sunday. More changes are planned at the end of the month, with the extension of the subway line 14.

With the opening of the CDGVAL (reported before), I have improved our description for the bus lines going to the CDG airport.

A new "metro" line (CDGVAL) has opened at the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris (France), serving the 3 terminals and 2 car parks.

Additionally, D. Pellegrini noticed that after its recent renovation, station "Pierre Curie" has been renamed to "Pierre & Marie Curie".

Tours

I have done a complete rebuild of the database for Tours (France), which was long overdue.

Budapest

R. Fromer provided information for 2 additional lines for our Budapest (Hungary) database. I also fixed a few minor problems in the file.

Linz

I completely redesigned our database for Linz (Austria). No thanks to the guys there who never helped in 3 years.
