Braunschweig

There are spring updates on the bus network in Braunschweig (Germany). Information by L. Freund (again!).

Genève

L. Freund reported minor changes on the bus network in Geneva (Switzerland), along with a few additional places of interest.

Valencia

A. Lozada assembled the data for the bus network in Valencia (Spain), adding to the existing (small) Metro network.

Seoul

On Friday, a new Airport Express line will open in Seoul (Korea), between the Incheon and Gimpo airports (information by "Dennyshin").

Paris (works)

Subway line 14 in Paris (France) will be closed on Sunday morning, because of works for its future extension. Download the updated "temporary" files:

Berlin

M. Ciesielski reports service updates in Berlin (Germany), including the end of the works affecting subway lines U1, U2 & U3 and an extension of the X7 service to the airport.

Works on the brown line in Chicago (USA) are going on: station Francisco has reopened while Southport will close soon for about one year.

Handango

If you recently tried to download MetrO from Handango (possibly using the links in our mailing list), you probably noticed that you end up with an error. It looks like the "download" button on any description page for a freeware leads to the same problem.

I have reported the issue to their technical support and I want to share the fun I had with their reply:
Q: Your site is broken: the "Download now" button on any freeware page leads to an error.
R: I am sorry to hear about the difficulty you experienced with this promotion. In order to better assist you, could you please provide the exact promotion code you are attempting to use?

If this leaves you in doubt about the problem being solved soon, you may just go to our home page and download the latest version from our own server!

And in case you wonder, the links in our newsletter point to external providers (such as Handango) because we are afraid our (shared) server might be overloaded with too many queries...

Rio de Janeiro

Subway line 1 in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) has been extended with a new station in Copacabana.

Wien/Vienna

D. Howarth provided additional bus lines for Wien/Vienna (Austria), for an almost complete list of the most important lines in the city.

Beijing

R. Charman provided more detailed fare information in the Beijing (China) subway.

Genève

L. Freund reported a line extension in Genève / Geneva (Switzerland).

Paris (bus)

Although the RATP web site is silent about it, bus line 28 in Paris (France) is now reportedly running every day, including Sunday, until about 22:30.

Paris (works)

Two more stations (Bréguet-Sabin and Opéra on line 8) are closing this morning in the Paris (France) subway. And service on line 14 will again be disrupted during the coming week-ends.
