Yesterday (01/29), two new LRT lines have been inaugurated in Singapore. The MétrO database now includes these extensions.

Nürnberg
The file for Nürnberg (Germany) has been improved: a few changes and additional bus lines (running unfrequently, with some of them operating only on school days). Thanks to F. Bösl for the information!
San Juan
Z. Lozada provided places of interest for the San Juan (Puerto Rico) database, maybe following on with detailed information on these places...

Paris (bus network)
J.P. Muller has notified me of a tiny (but annoying) bug in the bus database for Paris (on the "Alsace" stop).
Nantes
After the dust settled on release 5.2.8, I have resumed the current work on the Nantes (France) database, with D. Guibert. In addition to a few changes on some lines, I have tried to adjust the trip times to more accurately match the timetables.

New York City: service alert
Due to a fire at Chambers Street, the MTA announced significant and long term changes on its service. Consequently we exceptionnally provide an interim revised New York file (on the MetrO home page), taking these changes into account.
Thanks to A. Li and K. Lager for notifying the event.

Release 5.2.8
The new release is finally out. Due to the crash on Frank's machine and my own lack of time, you'll notice that this release only consists of changes on city files (and a few new ones as well). Let's hope it gets better in the future...

Manchester
S. Foster remarked that the Manchester (UK) database was not quite accurate. And it was time for a lifting on the file: I added line icons and colors, operating times and a few places of interest.

Nantes
Following on my recent comments about the Nantes (France) database, D. Guibert started to help me correct the existing errors. I'm not sure this will be complete for the next release, but it's getting better anyway.
Kyoto - Osaka - Kobe - Nara
After a question about an Osaka rail line, I have corrected some errors and added one line to the Nankai rail system in the Kyoto - Osaka - Kobe - Nara database.
I would like to remind users that the Kyoto file contains the subway and main tourist buses for this city, the Osaka - Kobe file contains the urban systems for both cities as well as connections between them and the Kyoto - Osaka - Kobe - Nara file contains the subways and most of the rail lines in the whole area.

Next release
Bad news: Frank has crashed his PC and is unable to prepare the new release (which we initially planned today). We hope to be able to deliver version 5.2.8 early next week.
Sorry for the delay.
Sorry for the delay.
Rennes
The Rennes (France) database is updated after a lot of changes on the bus network. As usual, J. Fresnay provided the data (thanks ;-)

Oslo
A. Norling, another regular contributor, sent updates for the Oslo (Norway) database: end of works, a few minor corrections and 2 new bus lines.
San Juan
The Tren Urbano in San Juan (Puerto Rico) has started trial service and commercial service is planned next month. L. Pérez provided actualized information about the line (it has changed a bit since the project began).

Bilbao
The subway lines in Bilbao (Spain) were extended last week. I also noticed some errors in the trip times information, which should now be much more accurate.
Nuremberg
A small change occured in the Nuremberg (Germany) network, notified by C. Eyrich, one of our most helpful contributors ;-)
Melbourne
D. Harrison sent a number of places of interest for the Melbourne (Australia) file. Maybe there will be more to come...

Bologna (cont'd)
C. Scarnato has sent me the rest of the data for Bologna: the file should be complete (or almost) for the next release (which will probably be out early next week).
Wien / Vienna
I corrected a small error on tram line N in the Wien (Austria) network. And I was informed that the Teddy Bear Museum has been closed (since 2001!), so I removed it from the places of interest :-(

Karachi
As I wrote before, the Karachi (Pakistan) bus system is too large for the program to handle, but A. Allawala sent the data for a small part of it, covering the Green Bus & Metro Bus networks. We'll see if we can add more in the future...

São Paulo
C. Navas provides a list of places of interest for the São Paulo (Brazil) database, with detailed information (in portuguese).

Bologna
C. Scarnato is preparing a new file for the bus network in Bologna (Italy). He began with 5 shuttle services and I hope he will have the courage to build the rest. Thanks!

Aachen
R. Kieper sent the data for the Aachen (Germany) bus network. Because of its complexity, I'm not sure I will be able to deliver the database in the next release, but I'm working on it...

Pakistan
Until now there were no database for Metro for any city in Pakistan. A. Ahmed has sent data for the inner city bus networks in 3 of them: Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
He also offered to send the data for Karachi but unfortunately, with 377 lines, it's tool large for the software...
And I wish you all a happy new year!
