The MetroLink network in Manchester (UK) has been extended again, with 5 new stops beyond St Werburgh's Road, up to East Didsbury. In addition, the stop at Mosley Street has been closed down.

          After months of works, the "Smith-9 St" station on subway lines F and G in New York (USA) has finally reopened. A few days earlier, service was restored on subway line 1 to the "South Ferry" station, which had been closed following the damage from Hurricane Sandy. Finally, @tech4evr reported (on Twitter) recent increases on the MTA fares.
