New York

Today, a new station (8th St) opens on the Hudson-Bergen light rail line in Bayonne (NJ), which will be added to our New York (USA) database.

In addition to the "works" version, our "regular" file has also been updated with the changes.

Annecy

After Frank spotted a typo in our database for Annecy (France), I checked it entirely and brought it up to date with the current services.

The works on the RER C and the southeastern part of the RER D in Paris (France) have now ended.

L. Freund reports the recent opening of 4 new subway / light rail lines in Beijing (China).

Brisbane

N. Bell reports that, with the recent floods that affected the area, the CityCats and City Ferries services in Brisbane (Australia) are now suspended.

L.Kieffer submitted the bus network covering Montreuil, near Paris (France), which I merged with our existing database for nearby Bagnolet.

The works on the RER E in Paris (France) have ended, while additional disruptions will affect the RER D between Juvisy and Corbeil on evenings from Monday to Friday.

Dresden

R. Lippold noticed that a few tram and bus stops in Dresden (Germany) have had their names changed. I also removed the "Car-Sharing" POIs from our database, since it appears the system has been entirely redesigned.

Berlin (works)

Works on subway line U9 in Berlin (Germany) have ended.

Reminder: the situation on the S-Bahn network is still chaotic. Until the DB provides reliable timetables, it is recommended to deactivate these lines in MetrO when searching for a route (see the user guides on our website for instructions on how to deactivate groups).

Because I won't be able to prepare a complete version tomorrow, I updated our special "works" database for New York (USA) early with the latest MTA advisories  for the week-end. Expect a complementary release (for next week advisories) Saturday or Sunday.

Metro for BlackBerry 5.9.3

We are pleased to announce the release of MetrO for BlackBerry 5.9.3, with a Danish translation, thanks to S. Christensen.

The new version is available now from our BlackBerry web page and should appear shortly in the BlackBerry App World.

Please note that, for reasons I still can't understand, it may be necessary to reset your BlackBerry after installing the new version.

Tokyo

N. Viveen reported some changes on the Narita Express route for our Tokyo (Japan) database.

Various disruptions affect subway line U9 in Berlin (Germany) until Thursday morning.

F. Kadlec reports some changes on a few tram and ferry routes in Prague (Czech Republic).

Porto

A new metro line (F - Laranja) has opened in Porto (Portugal) at the beginning of the year.

Frankfurt am Main

After the new subway lines opened in Frankfurt am Main (Germany) last month, a few bus services have changed as well, which were reported by P. Absolon.

Košice

P. Absolon reports the introduction of a color scheme in the transportation network of Košice (Slovakia).

Bratislava

P. Absolon provided an update for one regional bus route (901) in our Bratislava (Slovakia) database.

Žilina

P. Absolon sent a minor update for the bus network of Žilina (Slovakia).

Service on subway line 1 in Paris (France) will begin at 10 AM every Sunday until the end of May.

Zürich

After the recent changes on the tram routes, A. Lang submitted an update to the S-Bahn network of Zürich (Switzerland).

Oslo

T-bane line 6 in Oslo (Norway) is now reaching station "Jar" again, after the section had been closed down for years. As a consequence, a few bus routes have also been altered.

Moscow

The connection between Moscow (Russia) metro lines 2 (Zamoskvoretskaya) and 5 (Circular) at Belorusskaya, which was closed since last May, has reopened.
