Wien (Vienna)

On a suggestion by V. Dumitrescu (who, unfortunately, did not provide the reqired data), I have added a missing tram line (actually a "Lokalbahn", its local designation) in the Wien (Austria) database.

London & Rotterdam

K. de Bondt sent me some updates on the places of interest, as well as new ones, in Rotterdam (Netherlands).

He also suggested the addition of a new place of interest in London (UK): the Parasol Unit.

Washington-Baltimore

J. Tannenwald provided a few updates on the places of interest included in the Washington-Baltimore (USA) database.

Korean version

I have revised the Korean version of the program, on new translations provided by W. Hwang-Chung.

Paris ("works")

New version for the "temporary" Paris databases (works in progress on the subway network). I am not sure of their accuracy because of some inconsistencies between my information sources (on the RATP web site)...

Lyon

L. Freund reported minor errors in the Lyon (France) database.

Brest

A minor update for Brest (France) was sent by M. Pouliquen.

Oslo

A. Norling provided an update for Oslo (Norway), including a summer bus service to the beaches east of the city...

With more than 30°C in Paris these days, I guess I would feel much better there ;-)

Philadelphia

M. Mazuryk informs me of a project to renovate the Market-Frankford line in Philadelphia (USA), with a first stop being closed for 5 monthes.

Vilnius

F. Wilhelm sent the complete bus and trolleybus network for Vilnius (Lithuania). It was almost too large for the program but I finally made a valid database ;-)

Genova & Savona

T. Caviglia sent an update for the network in Genova (Italy), including funicular lines.

He also sent me the bus network for Savona (in Italy as well).

Problems with my mailbox

For all of you who try to contact me, you should be aware of some troubles I have with my mailbox on Yahoo! Mail (where all the mails you send end up, including those sent to the nanika.net domain).

In the last weeks, the Y! mail service tend to flag a lot of valid mails as spam and, given the number of spams I get (hundreds per day), it happens that I delete them without noticing they are genuine... The last example was last night: I realized one mail was about the Las Vegas file just after I pressed the "delete" button (and it is lost forever).

Therefore, if you send me a mail, expecting a reply (especially for contributions), and do not get one within a few days, please try again (and try changing the subject to something really meaningful)...

Busan

After Seoul, W. Hwang-Chung suggested some changes on the Busan (Korea) network.

Monterrey & Napoli

The latest version of Monterrey (Mexico), changed just before the new release, was not entirely accurate...
And another addition has arrived for Napoli (Italy), with still more to come, eventually.

Seoul

Too late to be included in the new release, W. Hwang-Chung sent me new information on the Seoul (Korea) network, which is expanding...

Release 5.3.2

The new version of MetrO (5.3.2) is out, with updates on many city databases, as can be seen from the posts here during the last month ;-)

Monterrey

M. Leon sent updates for the Monterrey (Mexico) system, including new TransMetro routes.

Napoli

Nesis sent additional boat lines for the Napoli (Italy) database. It was also a good opportunity to add operating times on the other lines.

It looks like there are a few errors in the file that need fixing (inappropriate connections). I just hope I'll get them before the next release (planned this week-end, if all goes well).

Utrecht

The Utrecht (Netherlands) database required a major update (on the bus network). Thanks to K. de Bondt for providing the information.

Barcelona (part 2)

After Emilo's mail, we realized the FGC network in Barcelona had some serious flaws. I have adjusted the trip times (they were largely understimated) and fixed some line routes...

Rennes

Jérôme provided an update on some information (especially about places of interest) in Rennes (France).

For users who would prefer an RSS feed over the existing Atom feed, I have added the option to this blog (through the FeedBurner service).

Morlaix

M. Pouliquen, who certainly loves Brittany (western France), sent the data for a new city: Morlaix.

One FGC line was missing, as well as a stop (they supposedly opened last year) in Barcelona (Spain). Emilio sent me a notice.

Perth

After more than 2 years of silence ;-) M. Harris reported a change on the Perth (Australia) network and provided information for 2 additional bus lines, with possibly more to come...

Hong Kong

A new station opened on the Hong Kong network.
