Montréal

S. Tremblay reported the opening of a new station on one of the AMT suburban railway lines in Montréal (Canada). I have also found some changes and inacuracies (on trip times and operating times) on the other AMT lines...

i-MetrO

Users of our i-MetrO online service may have noticed that it has suffered some rather frequent outages recently and this has had an impact on our other services as well (MetrO online updates, mostly).

It appears that the number of users largely exceeds our expectations (especially our Google module) and this is over-stressing our (shared) server, leading to memory shortages almost daily.

I have not yet entirely solved the problem but I have taken measures so that there should not be so many interruptions in the future (and hopefully none at all).

Padova

T. d'Angelo reported some changes on the transportation network in Padova (Italy).

MetrO 5.4.5

The new version of MetrO is available, with:

• One new city (Offenburg, Germany)
• Important changes in Bremen, Brussels, Clermont Ferrand, Freiburg im Breisgau, Lyon, Madrid, Potsdam, Saint Etienne, Vienna
• Minor changes on more than 60 cities (it was time for a general clean-up)

New York

The MTA has announced another set of major service disruptions in the New York (USA) subway for the coming weeks (reported by A.H. Li). There are also minor changes on the New Jersey Transit network.

Because of some vagueness in the MTA advisories I cannot guarantee the changes are accurately taken into account and I may post a new file shortly if it appears it is not entirely correct.

Wien/Vienna

S. Kercz submitted an update for the Wien (Austria) network, including the first bus lines for our database...

Caracas

A new station has opened on line 3 of the Caracas (Venezuela) subway.

Potsdam

L. Freund provided a complete update for the tram network in Potsdam (Germany).

Saint Etienne

A new tram line has opened in Saint Etienne (France) and consequently some bus services have changed as well. L. Freund sent the information for updating our database.

Melbourne

D. Pickett reported that most Connex rail services in Melbourne (Australia) have been extended on Friday & Saturday nights.
I also noticed an error in the database, on the city loop services direction on Friday & Monday nights (after midnight)...

Bremen & Bremerhaven

L. Freund sent some additions for the Bremen (Germany) database, including the bus network in the nearby city of Bremerhaven.

Paris (works)

Today, station Duroc reopens on line 10 and closes on line 13 in the Paris (France) subway. Download the updated "temporary" files:

New York

Burnside Av and Bedford Pk stations reopen this morning in the New York (USA) subway. You may download an updated file from here or with our online update services.

München

Since yesterday, subway line 6 has been extended in München (Germany). I was notified by C. Immler who also reported a minor bug in our Bremen (Germany) database.

Rostock

L. Freund sent an update for Rostock (Germany), with important changes on the tram network since yesterday.

Athens

T. Mognetti suggested a few adjustments for our Athens (Greece) database, for better accuracy.

Lyon

A new trolleybus line has opened in Lyon (France), accompanied by a few bus routes changes. Report and data by T. Mognetti & L. Freund.

Madrid

M. Ruano Mayoral has noticed that our data for Madrid (Spain) missed one station on the Cercanías C5 line.
It appeared 2 or 3 others stations were also missing. And while checking the network, I have adjusted trip times on all the Cercanías lines, which should now be accurate within 1 minute.

Lyon

L. Freund noticed a small change on a night bus service in Lyon (France).

Copenhagen

C. Hindsgaul reported station name changes in the Copenhagen (Denmark) subway. He also provided one additional bus line.

New York

Minor updates (cont'd)

Following on my previous efforts, I have updated another batch of databases (Adana, Ankara, Bakou, Bursa, Calcutta, Cardiff, Catania, Charleroi, Chennai, Davos, Dnepropetrovsk, Guadalajara, Haifa, Hiroshima, Hradec Kralove, Izmir, Krasnoyarsk, Kryvoy Rog, Kuala Lumpur, Mülheim-Oberhausen, Nizhnii Novgorod, Palermo, Plzen, Pyongyang, Salt Lake City, Samara, Sheffield, Tashkent, Tbilisi, Teheran, Ulaanbaator, Volgograd, Yekaterinburg, Yerevan !!!) and this time, some of the changes are not "minor", actually...

Köln

W. Wöhlert reported the opening (apparently in May) of a new stop on the Stadtbahn network in Köln (Germany).

Mumbai

I was informed that a stop was missing on one route of our Mumbai (India) database.
