Beijing

As usual, the end of the year brings a lot of additions to the metro network in Beijing (China), with new stops on lines 8 and 15 as well as extensions on line 14 and on the Changping line.

Singapore

A 12 stations extension has opened on the Downtown metro line in Singapore.

Chengdu

A new metro line ("4") has been inaugurated in Chengdu (China).

Nanchang

The first line of the new metro network in Nanchang (China) was just opened.

Sapporo

With the addition of a new stop ("Tanuki Koji"), the tram line in Sapporo (Japan) now completes its loop.

Qingdao

An initial section of the first line of the new metro in Qingdao (China) has just opened.

Shanghai

Major extensions have been inaugurated today on metro lines 11, 12 and 13 in Shanghai (China).

Buenos Aires

An extension, comprising 2 new stations, has opened on metro line H in Buenos Aires (Argentina).

Salvador

As reported by L. Freund, a new station ("Pirajá") has opened on the Metrô de Salvador da Bahia (Brazil), whose operations are still limited to 8:00-18:00.

Paris

A new station ("Rosa Parks") has been inaugurated on the RER E in Paris (France), adding a connection to the tram network.

Zürich

With the end of the year coming, A. Lang reports several major changes on the bus and S-Bahn networks in Zürich (Switzerland).

Lausanne

P. Schweizer reports several changes on the transportation network in Lausanne (Switzerland), applicable from December 13^th.

Freiburg im Breisgau

A new tram line (4) has opened in Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany), adding 4 new stops to the network.

Köln

A new Stadtbahn line (17) has just opened in Köln / Cologne (Germany).

Berlin (works)

The disruptions on tram line 21 in Berlin (Germany) have ended. All services are now (almost) running normally for the end of the year.
