Paris (works)

This week, there will be works affecting the RER A service in Paris (France) from Monday to Thursday after 22:30. And of course, station Bérault should re-open on Monday. Download the updated "temporary" files:

• Paris-travaux (complete rail network)
• Paris-full-travaux (inner city subway, bus and RER networks - not usable on a Palm device)

Berlin

The second phase of works on the U9 line in Berlin (Germany) starts on Monday and will last until October 29 (after that, the third phase will last one more week).

The special version of our database has been updated.

Madrid

N. Knapp informed me that the 2 new "Metro Ligero" lines have opened this week in the western Madrid (Spain) area.

Paris (works)

Station Bérault (on line 1) in Paris (France) is closed for the week-end. The disruptions on line T1 were supposed to change today but it looks like the RATP has given up on the plan.

Den Haag

While collecting geographic coordinates for Den Haag (Netherlands), I discovered many severe errors, due to the stop naming scheme (the same name is used for stops that are in completely different places).

Paris

The TVM (Trans Val de Marne) bus line in the Paris (France) suburban area has had its route extended to "Croix de Berny", from "MIN Rungis".

New York (works)

The special "works" version of our New York (USA) database has been updated with the latest MTA advisories for this week-end and next week.

Madrid

Works on Metro line 5 in Madrid (Spain) are over and the service is now back to normal.

Utrecht

I fixed a few errors and inaccuracies I found in our data for Utrecht (Netherlands).

Update on i-Métro

Our online service has been silently enhanced in recent weeks, with many new cities where the "find a route by address" feature is available.

The covered cities now include: Amsterdam (Netherlands), Arnhem (Netherlands), Berlin (Germany), Boston (USA), Chicago (USA), Eindhoven (Netherlands), Los Angeles (USA), Madrid (Spain), Napoli (Italy), New York (USA), Paris (France), Philadelphia (USA), Sacramento (USA), Toronto (Canada), Utrecht (Netherlands).

This feature is enabled by getting the geographic coordinates for the stops. Therefore, if you want to add a city to the list, you'd just have to provide these coordinates ;-) as described on our "Contribute" page.

Please note that there are a few cities where we already have coordinates but the feature is not activated for one of the following reasons:
- Google Maps does not provide address geocoding in the country (which is the case for London, Santiago de Chile and Singapore);
- Our coverage is not sufficient to provide an efficient service (concerns: Copenhagen, Lisbon, Tokyo, Vancouver, Washington, Vienna).

Manila

P. Pantaleon provided a few additions to our database for Manila (Philippines).

Reminder: Berlin, Philadelphia

As explained before, line U9 in Berlin (Germany) runs only part of its route starting today. A temporary database is available for download.

And the disruptions on the El (Market-Frankford) line in Philadelphia (USA) also end today: if you installed our special database, remember to return to the standard one.

Marseille

C. Contal has finished his ongoing work to add the bus network to our database for Marseille (France), which is now complete.

Users from Marseille are invited to contact me if they want to help us testing (and possibly fixing errors) on this version.

New York (works)

The special "works" version of our New York (USA) database has been updated with the latest MTA advisories for next week, with some weird changes...

I have found some errors and service updates for the bus network in Eindhoven (Netherlands) but I'm afraid I did not fix all of them :-(
