Taipei

The "Bannan" subway line in Taipei (Taiwan) is extended to Yongning, starting today.

Rostock

L. Freund reported a few minor errors and added some places of interest for our Rostock (Germany) database.

Paris (works)

Works will occur in the late evenings from Monday to Thursday on the RER line C in the Paris (France) subway. Download the updated "temporary" files:

• Paris-travaux (complete rail network)
• Paris-full-travaux (inner city subway, bus and RER networks - not usable on a Palm device)
  

Next update planned on Friday, June 2nd.

Dresden & Braunschweig

L. Freund sent updates for the networks in Dresden and Braunschweig (Germany).

Porto

A new line opened in the Porto (Portugal) metro, linking the airport to the center of the city.

Stuttgart

S. Engelen provided the data for 3 night bus lines in Stuttgart (Germany). Quite a number of the existing lines remain to be added, though ;-)

Prague

Line A in the Prague (Czech Republic) metro has been extended with a new station.

Luxembourg

The bus network in Luxembourg has changed this month (and nobody reported the fact!).

Edmonton

J. Siu sent a list of major bus lines to add to our Edmonton (Canada) database, hopefully making it a lot more useful than it was with its previous single subway line.
He also provided a few places of interest for the file.

Berlin (cont'd)

Given the extent of the changes planned in Berlin (Germany) next week, I am releasing a test version of the new database. If you find errors in the file, please remember to send me your report (at the address you will find in the software).

Berlin

As reported by M. Ciesielski, the new central station in Berlin (Germany) will open on May 28th and there will be quite a lot of changes on the transportation system as a consequence.

Magdeburg

L. Freund sent a significant update for the tram network in Magdeburg (Germany), which was in a serious need of one, not having been checked since 2002...

MetrUp

MetrUp, the "MetrO updater" utility for PalmOS comes in a new version (1.3.1), with the following changes:

• Safer updates (if any error occurs during the update process, the old file is restored)
• Access to the web service on our new server (see below)
• Minor bug fix
