2009 has gone and here is a quick summary of what it was for MetrO.The most important event for us was the release of MetrO for the iPhone, which made a success on the AppStore with more than 500,000 downloads in less than 6 months!
The release of i-MetrO for Layar and the experiment with augmented reality that it represents is another milestone for the year, although with less impact.
Now, 2010 is here and it will be a busy year as well: our iPhone app still needs some work; we have to finalize the Symbian version to run on the latest S60 system (which turns out to be quite difficult) and the pressure to build a version for Android is growing...
We also have a wish for the new year: we would like to see more of you helping us keep our data up to date. The software has always been (for 10 years, now) a collective work and we need your contribution to make it useful!
