MetrO for the iPhone
MetrO for the iPhone is now under development and, although it takes more time than I would like, I have made enough progress to unveil a few screenshots (click on the thumbnails for full size pictures).
Thank you Patrice, I have been waiting for this since I retired my old WM5 device last summer. I travel quite a bit, and Metro is a lifesaver in cities with big transit systems like Tokyo and Paris.
- Price ? I think we'll stick to the same donation model as for other versions. I hope Apple won't object...
- Release date ? I'm sorry but I can't tell. Development for the iPhone is mostly straightforward but I sometimes bump on issues that take hours to solve.
While I appreciate that you've always given MetrO away for free, it's an app easily worth $10 or $20.
Might I suggest you sell it for .99¢ rather than give it away? That's cheap enough that nobody would balk at paying it, but if tens of thousands of people download it, you'll be rewarded for your hard work.
Super les gars, j'ai bien hâte d'avoir ce programme sur mon iPhone.

Glad to see it. It's looking beautiful. I head for Rome Tuesday with my Treo and Metro. I'll be glad when I can go with an iPhone. Maybe next year!
