A new tram line (18) will open tomorrow in Frankfurt am Main (Germany). P. Absolon prepared the corresponding update to our database, including the impacts of this addition on the rest of the tram and bus network.

Berlin (works)

Works on the U2 subway line in Berlin (Germany) have ended and normal services are now restored on both the U1 and U2 lines.

R. Nowobilsky noticed (and reported) some inaccuracies affecting the Keihan routes that are included in our database for the larger Kyoto-Osaka area (Japan).

Paris (works)

Works on the RER D in Paris (France) have ended.

There are no more temporary changes planned in the short term and, consequently, no date set for a future update. This may be due to the time of the year but, if nothing new comes up in January, I will discontinue the "works" versions of our Paris files.

A 3 stops extension has opened today on metro line 10 in Moscow (Russia), which now makes a connection with line 2.

Bilbao

A new metro station ("Basauri") has opened on metro line 2 in Bilbao (Spain / Basque Country).

Almaty

The first line of a new metro system has just opened in Almaty (Kazakhstan).

Yekaterinburg

A new station (Botanicheskaya) has been opened on the single metro line of Yekaterinburg (Russia).

Berlin (works)

Works on tram lines M17, 27 and 37 in Berlin (Germany) have ended early this morning.
