New York (works)

Delhi

The Metro blue line in Delhi (India) has been extended with 10 new stations, last week.

Los Angeles

Last Sunday, the metro Gold line in Los Angeles (USA) was extended and some bus routes were changed as well. J. Abbate provided a complete update for our databases.

Paris

Next week-end in Paris (France), tram line T2 will be extended to Porte de Versailles and at least one bus route is affected by the change.

Vitoria-Gasteiz

A. Sarasua sent the night bus routes for the city of Vitoria-Gasteiz (Basque Country - Spain), and, with that addition, our database is now complete.

Paris

The JetBus, one of the Orly airport bus lines in Paris, has been definitely closed on November 1st.

i-MetrO

There are some news for our i-MetrO online services:

• The "walk" preference we experimented on the web version is now also available on the mobile version (except the WAP version) and the Netvibes widget;
• Our algorithm for calculating routes from a street address has been tweaked for more realistic results (and a bug has also been fixed);
• A few UI improvements.
  

Paris (works)

Various RER lines in Paris (France) will suffer disruptions in the coming days:

• RER A services to/from Cergy and Poissy are re-routed to St Lazare after 22:30 from Monday to Thursday;
• RER B is replaced by a bus service between Aulnay & Aéroport CDG after 23:00 on Friday and Saturday nights until next week;
• RER E is replaced by a bus service between Gretz & Tournan after 21:30 from Monday to Friday.

Austin

After an inquiry by someone from the local transit authority about our information being obsolete, I have entirely rewritten our file for the bus network of Austin, TX (USA). However, since I had no help, I only included the local routes.

Atlanta

P. Meiere sent a complete rewrite of our data for Atlanta, GA (USA), with a selection of bus routes.

MetrO 5.8.4

The latest release of MetrO (version 5.8.4) is now available, with 3 new cities and many others that have been updated.

i-MetrO for Layar has been enhanced again with data for Monaco and Vitoria-Gasteiz (Basque Country / Spain), where you can now locate the bus stops in augmented reality on your iPhone or Android phone!

I also made minor updates to a few cities in the process and fixed a bug affecting results in Mexico (and maybe other cities)...

Seattle

Bill reported a minor error (over the Kingdome POI, which does not exist anymore) in our database for Seattle, WA (USA).

Cali

Y. Perchy provided another major update for the MIO bus network of Cali (Colombia).

MetrO for BlackBerry

MetrO for the BlackBerry has been successfully tested for compatibility with the new BlackBerry OS 5.0. There may be a minor issue with some icons but I tend to think this is due to using a beta version of the simulator.

Wroclaw

G. Karpowicz sent some data to build a new database for the tram & bus network of Wroclaw (Poland).

Sydney

After being questioned about recent changes on the Sydney (Australia) timetables, I have made some research and found nothing relevant for us, except for an error on the operating times for the Sydenham branch of the "Airport & East Hills Line" (which will be fixed, of course).

Prague

F. Kadlec sent a series of updates for Prague (Czech Republic), including changes due to works affecting some of the tram lines.
