Shanghai
A new metro line (7) has opened in Shanghai (China), running only during daytime for the time being.
i-MetrO
The "auto-suggest" feature on i-MetrO (as well as on our Netvibes widget) has just got better and more friendly to our users who don't have easy access to accents on their keyboard. When you start typing text, the suggested stops are now insensitive to whitespace, control and accented characters. It means that, for example, you can type "aero" to find "Aéroport" and "stla", "st-la" or "st la" to find "St Lazare".
Thanks to I. Mills for pointing out the issue!

London
Richard sent a description of the "Chiltern Railways High Wycombe" line to add to our database for London (England).
However, it should be noted that these kinds of irregular routes are not optimal additions to MetrO, since the program can't tell which services serve which stops.

MetrO on BlackBerry Storm
I have had a few reports recently about issues with MetrO on the Blackberry Storm and Storm 2: the setup screens do not show any "OK" button, making it impossible to change the options. After some exchanges with A. Godfrind & Affy (thank you both!), we have been able to spot the problem: after installation, the BlackBerry sets MetrO in "legacy mode" by default and it proves to be the wrong choice.
I will try to fix the issue but, in the meantime, you can just switch off this legacy mode, with a few steps:
- Go to Options / Advanced Options / Applications
- Highlight the "MetrO" application
- Open the context menu and select "Disable Legacy Mode"
I apologize for the inconvenience.
