After some exchanges with A. Godfrind & Affy (thank you both!), we have been able to spot the problem: after installation, the BlackBerry sets MetrO in "legacy mode" by default and it proves to be the wrong choice.
I will try to fix the issue but, in the meantime, you can just switch off this legacy mode, with a few steps:
- Go to Options / Advanced Options / Applications
- Highlight the "MetrO" application
- Open the context menu and select "Disable Legacy Mode"
