Rotterdam

A new station has opened on the Calandlijn in Rotterdam (Netherlands). It also appears the branches at the end of the line were not accurately described.

Bruxelles/Brussel

The bus network in Bruxelles / Brussel (Belgium) will be completely redesigned over the next few years. L. Debacker provided the first batch of changes, planned on September 5th.

i-Métro

I have worked again on i-Métro, making it slightly easier to use with a few user interface enhancements... The Amadeus version, in particular, should now be fully compatible with Firefox.

More important, I believe (and hope) I have solved the recurring problem I had every time I updated the city files (taking hours to be effective when the service did not simply crash entirely).

Paris (works)

From next Monday, line 5 in Paris will be partially closed again in the evening for works. The temporary MetrO databases are updated.

SAS offered to build a database for the trolleybus system in Sofia (Bulgaria). We started with a cyrillic version...

Stockholm

R. Mezzadri sent me 4 main bus lines for the Stockholm (Sweden) database.

Kyiv / Kiev

One of the subway line in Kyiv (Ukraine) has been extended this month. I also updated the russian version of our database.

Lyon

One of the tram lines in Lyon (France) will be extended next month. There are also minor changes on the bus lines in the area. Thanks to L. Freund for the notice.

Braunschweig

L. Freund sent me additional (and corrective) information for the city of Braunschweig (Germany).

i-Métro

I am currently trying to improve i-Métro (the online MetrO service) and there is already a significant change: the service automatically starts with your preferred language, if your browser is correctly configured and the language itself is available in our service.

Barcelona

M. Coll reported an error on one of the RENFE lines in Barcelona (Spain).

London

A. Scott provided an additional line (the "Heathrow Connect") to reach Heathrow Airport in London (UK).

While adding that to the database, I also realized there was an error in the current version: the Thameslink lines appear twice...

Paris (bus)

Bruno reported service changes on bus lines 28 and 38 in Paris (France).

New York

The Cortland Street station in New York City (USA) will be closed for 6 monthes. Thanks to A. Leviss for sending me a note.

Bydgoszcz

The Bydgoszcz (Poland) database has been updated by P. Falkowski (there are not so many changes, though).
